Chamberlin Education Foundation supports educators and community partners to advance education equity and academic excellence for students in West Contra Costa public schools.

Overview

Chamberlin Education Foundation’s initiatives strengthen West Contra Costa public schools and expand opportunities for the children, youth, and educators who make up our community. Through partnerships with schools and local organizations, we invest in strong instruction, educator support, community leadership, and programs that help young people thrive.

Leadership

Instructional Leadership Community of Practice

Our foundation supports the Instructional Leadership Community of Practice (ILCoP), which brings together principals and K–5 teaching teams across WCCUSD to strengthen instructional systems and practices that drive measurable academic improvement.

Through ILCoP, schools adopt research-based teaching practices and high-quality instructional materials, support one another’s professional growth, and build a peer learning network that delivers standards-aligned, culturally responsive, and sustaining instruction for students.
